Thomas B. Stahl has been an associate with Silverstein & Ostovitz, LLC since August 2009. His work involves domestic matters, including, divorce, custody, and child support. He also works on guardianship matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Stahl was the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. McCrone of the Circuit Court for Howard County from 2008 until 2009.
Attorney Stahl graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Attorney Stahl competed on the J. Braxton Craven Moot Court Team for two years, was an intern in the Office of Chief Counsel, Department of Homeland Security, was a Research Assistant to Professor Morad Eghbal and the Center for International and Comparative Law at the University of Baltimore, and served as the President of the Moot Court Board. While President of the Moot Court Board he increased student participation in the annual Moot Court Competition from 42 students in 2007 to 172 students in 2008. He earned one of four Dean’s Citation for Service in 2008.
Outside of the office, he is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Baltimore School of Law and Co-Coach of the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition Moot Court Team. He is also a member of the Macgill Inns of Court.
He is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
He is a member of the Howard County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the D.C. Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
